Activity 3.4 Linear Dimensions
In activity 3.4, we learned about linear dimensions. During this activity we learned about the dimensioning of objects and the rules to dimensioning.

1. Why is placement of your dimensions so important? The placement of my dimensions is so important because if dimensions aren't done properly than a person might become confused and not able to understand the dimensions of an object.
2. Why do designers need to fully dimension a part? Designers need to fully dimension a part because it helps them know how to edit the object according to the dimensions of it and how to make in a way that meets the dimensions and is appealing to the target audience.
3. What does it mean when a sketch is over dimensioned? A sketch is over-dimensioned when it has too many dimensions on one view of an object or one side of an object or when an object has dimensions on a side that doesn't best show the objects parts and contours.
